Full-time therapist

The Collaborative is pleased to offer a full-time therapist position with psychodynamic and experiential experience. We are a community of healers with passion for transforming personal and collective trauma, based in Manhattan (Greenwich Village). We believe this work comes from the inside out, and are just as committed to our own healing and development as we seek to meet the needs of our diverse clients. 

We serve clients in-person and remote, and are seeking candidates who are able to do both.

Successful candidates must have:

  • Valid NYS and/or MA independent license required (LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, PhD, PsyD) child, family or couples therapist.

  • Background and training in working with couples and/or children and families.

  • Strong engagement, diagnostic, and assessment skills.

  • Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and other providers.

  • Strong organizational skills, able to manage calendar and communication with clients and team independently.

  • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience.

  • Availability for a minimum of 23 - up to 30 client hours, including either two evenings or one weekend day weekly, three year minimum commitment.

  • Background and training in working with diverse clients, including varied racial, gender, socioeconomic and neurodivergent populations.

Successful candidates must have one or more of the following:

  • Training in and experience using experiential modalities, like: EMDR, SE, AEDP, DDP

  • Engaged in continuing education and development of psychotherapeutic skills and competencies.

Job Type: Full-time fee-for-service position, private practice, hybrid remote

Salary: Hourly rate varies depending on experience and specialty, and ranges from $75-115 per clinical hour. Annual salary range with full caseload is typically $90-150k and could be higher, depending on caseload.
